Bren Travis is a well-established professional musician with 15 years teaching experience.  I work quickly to improve the playing and creativity of an enthusiastic student, focusing on live improvisational skills, techniques, soloing, and a practical understanding of usable theory.  Song writing techniques accompany ear-training, which allows a musician to hear a song or melody, then process it quickly, before playing it on the instrument instantly.

I am a fully qualified lecturer of Music Theory and have played Guitar, Piano & Bass for 23 years.  My aim is to offer the lessons I wish I could have taken when I was learning to play with a live band.  I teach all styles of music and levels of skill.  Whether you're new to playing  and want to learn to rock, or you're an experienced player who is stuck in a rut, I can help your creativity and originality.
